Silk Orchids…I saw these today. Couldn’t even tell they were fake until I touched them. Real for the bouquets and fake for centerpieces and decorating. Yay for saving money.

June 29, 2013 is the official date. 1 year and 4 months away. Not too bad. Hopefully, that “June Gloom” will be gone by the end of June!! But on a more positive note, I love gloomy overcast weather. So as long as it doesn’t rain I’ll be happy!!
I love this place. Clear winner! Need to book a date like NOW.
Pros
Cons
I reallllyyy want to walk down the isle to this song. I’ve been looking at string quartets and a lot of them do special requests for a nominal fee. The fee isn’t too bad though, it’s actually hiring them to play is whats expensive.
Looking at 3 venues this weekend.
Fri 2/24 Paradise Point - not too interested in this one, the wedding will turn into a regular traditional hotel wedding if we have it here. this will probably be a last resort, unless I see something during the site visit I haven’t seen in pictures.
Sat 2/25 Robert Paine Scripps Seaside Forum - number one option so far. love the reception setup that I’ve seen in pictures. hopefully its as beautiful as they make it look in the pictures.
Sun 2/26 Grand Tradition - it’s in fallbrook, so ehhh.. this is second though because its so pretty in the pictures. The only reason I want it here is because it would be a tent reception.
Another place I want to look at is the US Grant. It’s a hotel but its SO nice that I would sacrifice a non-traditional reception for a traditional one. haha…
I want this. It looks fun :)
Wedding Flowers? Maybe.
My fat fingers totally ruin the ring. Which is why I will not show my fingers and the ring together. hahahah Oh and if you’re wondering where the light is coming from, the box came with the light. Pretty cool.
